　　Well, what flashes across my mind is the botanical garden located near where I live. It’s literally within a stone’s throw away. I knew about it when I moved into the neighborhood a couple of years ago.

For example, the trees were in their prime, with their green, big leaves and sprawling branches. They naturally became a shelter for visitors to escape from the summer heat on a hot sunny afternoon after sauntering along  paths leading to various sections.

Another thing that makes it stand out from other natural places is those dawn redwoods on the bank, dipping their leaves and soft, slim twigs into the shallow water. Their shadows were reflected on the surface of the lake. The scene was just so picture perfect. I had never seen anything like this before. Anyway, it is etched in my memory now.
