　　Have you ever learned to play a musical instrument?

If I’m not mistaken, I learned how to play the piano back somewhere around eight or nine years old, cos I had the vague memory of my mom enrolling me in a piano course. But I realized I wasn’t cut out for that and soon dropped out of the course.

　　What musical instrument do you enjoy listening to the most?　　Though I wasn’t a piano prodigy, I seemed to develop the hobby of appreciating some piano pieces composed by renowned musicians like Mozart or Bach at a young age. So I’ve been a huge fan of piano music ever since then as it sounds not only melodious but also it has got some soothing effects.

　　Do you think children should learn to play an instrument at school?　Well, it totally depends on children themselves. I mean, if music is what appeals to them, then they can join in some clubs or some classes to learn about instrument performance or singing, but if that’s not the case, no one should force them to learn musical instrument of any kind.

　　Do you think music education is important to children ?　　Definitely. I mean, if they receive some basic education in this area, they can develop the artistic taste and appreciate some beautiful artworks like painting or sculpture, as these art forms share something similar. Also, this offers them a chance to acquire a new skill like playing the piano or violin, which can be a plus point in the future especially when they are applying for jobs.
