饼状图是雅思小作文数据图考察频率较高的题型，很多同学可能在描述饼状图，尤其是多个饼状图的时候手足无措，主要原因有两个：

　　1句式和表达储备单一，只会反复使用一个句型，每个比例都在详细描述，不对数据的特征进行提取；

　　2多个饼图分不清比较对象是什么。

　　今天，我们通过一道剑雅真题，一起解决这两个问题！

　　技巧1

　　多样化的百分比表达

　　句型①

　　The percentage of sth is X%

　　如：1981年 insurance 只有百分之二，可以这样写：

　　It was striking that the percentage of expenditure on insurance in 1981 was merely 2 percent.

　　句型②

　　sth account for/make up/represent/constitute X%

　　如：Other workers’ salaries在1981年占28%，可以这样写：

　　The proportion of spending on other workers’ salaries was the second largest , which constituted 28% in 1981.

　　句型③

　　sth account for/constitute the largest /smallest /tiniest/highest/lowest proportion /portion/share - X%

　　如：Teacher’s salaries 是每个饼状图里最高的数据，可以使用上述句型：

　　As the figures clearly indicate, teacher’s salaries accounted for the highest proportion of total spending in all three years— 40%, 50% and 45% respectively.

　　技巧2

　　同事物之间的比例升降，高低进行对比

　　句型

　　● sth increase/see an increase (decrease/see a decrease) by X%，表示幅度

　　● sth decline/fall(increase/rise) to X%，表示“达到某一个数值”

　　如：Other workers’ salaries一直下降，从28%下降到15%，可以这样表达：

　　The expense on other workers’ salaries saw a continuous decline throughout the period from 28% to only 15% in 2001.

　　如：Resources such as books/Furniture and equipment的数据可以合并使用上述两个句型进行表达：

　　The expenditure on resources such as books increased to 20% in 1991 before falling sharply by 11% a decade later.

　　In terms of the cost of furniture and equipment, it saw a dramatic drop by 10% before surging to 23%.

　　技巧3

　　不同事物如果比例相同或者相似的时候可以进行比较

　　句型

　　sth make up the equal portion (X%)

　　如：resources such as books和furniture and equipment 在1981年的比例均为15%，可以这样描述：

　　The spending on resources such as books and furniture and equipment made up the equal portion at first (15%).
